A shoe with distinct character.

With an understated elegance and sex appeal, the Grants break away from the traditional restrictions of other Oxfords to stand on their own. Crafted from a wholecut piece of full-grain leather, the hand brogued 'U' shaped yoke around the lacestay adds a great deal of visual interest and an understated elegance to the entire shoe. This hard to find style has a “devil-may-care” attitude which gives them the freedom to work with tailored suits, tapered jeans, chinos and trousers.

This product is made from full-grain calfskin leather sourced from a Gold-Rated tannery based in Arzignano, Italy. Being the highest level of recognition awarded by the Leather Working Group, a Gold rating signifies the leather manufacturer meets the most stringent criteria and demonstrates a strong commitment to mitigating its environmental impact.

How your new shoes should feel

A good fit should feel snug without pinching: the heel secure with no slipping, while the toe box allows a small amount of movement. This offers better support, reduces excessive movement, and promotes proper foot placement for comfort and stability.

After a few wears, the sole and upper will gradually conform to the shape of your feet, providing an even better fit.

Care
  • Rotate between wears and insert shoe trees after use to help retain shape and minimise creasing.
  • Use a shoe horn when putting them on, and take them off by hand rather than stepping out of them, to protect the heel.
  • Once dry, wipe the upper gently with a soft brush or cloth to remove dust and surface marks.
  • Protect the upper with a product suited to its material (a leather conditioner for smooth leather, a suede/nubuck protector spray for suede or nubuck) before first wear, and refresh periodically, especially after cleaning or exposure to moisture.
  • For scuffs or marks, use a cleaner suited to the upper material and avoid harsh liquid cleaners where possible.
  • Let the sole dry at room temperature if it becomes damp and keep away from direct heat sources.
  • If you expect frequent wear in wet conditions, consider a protective sole treatment for extra grip and added longevity.
  • Store your shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
